Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Northland celebrities put on their dancing shoes tonight for the 7th Annual Celebrity Dance Challenge.

The big event is a fundraiser for the Minnesota Ballet.

Contestants spent the last few weeks preparing for tonight's show, judged by dance experts as well as the audience.

KBJR 6 & Range 11 Morning Anchor Courtney Godfrey and Chief Meteorologist Adam Clark were among the celebrities.

The ballet dancers say they look forward to this event every year.

"It's one of my favorite shows all season long it's a blast... we get to dance to things we generally don't get to dance to...it's a lot more involved with the audience," said Reinhard von Rabenau, one of the dancers with the Minnesota Dance Co.

Judges said Courtney Godfrey's dance was "most sultry" and Adam Clark's dance was "most enthusiastic."
