Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A Northland theater company is hoping to inspire kids through both the stage and the page.

That's the premise of Wise Fool Shakespeare's new Stage and Page program. The company will be giving away copies of the book that their plays are based on during their shows for kids. Every child in attendance at the play will get a copy.

The goal is to teach kids to love reading.

"We think we have a really unique opportunity to tell the story to kids live and then put that same book in their hand and get them excited about reading," said program creator, Chani Ninneman.

The first Stage and Page will be Judy Blume's "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing," on September 19th.
