Offender walked away from incarceration program, has since been found

Willow River, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- An offender walked away from the Department of Corrections' (DOC) Challenge Incarceration Program (CIP) at Willow River, Minn., yesterday.

Authorities say around 8:30 p.m. Richard James O'Reilly disappeared. He was located at 12 p.m. today at a residence in the Sturgeon Lake area. He was taken into custody by the Pine County Sheriff's Office, the DOC Fugitive Unit and the State Patrol. O'Reilly was incarcerated for counterfeiting/fraud.

He is described as 5'9'', 180 pounds, Caucasian, with blue eyes and blonde hair. He was last seen with a shaved head. The Willow River facility houses non–violent offenders. O'Reilly has been incarcerated since November 2013.
