Solway Township, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- The Saint Louis County Sheriff's office reports that no one was hurt after receiving reports of a man with a gun at a home in Solway Township on Wednesday.

Officials blocked off a portion of Munger Shaw road between U.S. 2 and Maple Grove Road after receiving a domestic abuse call.

A woman on the phone told police a man was at her house threatening to shoot her.

There were six people total in the home including two kids.

Upon arrival, police surrounded the house, but later found the suspect in a nearby field and took him into custody.

Officials say they did not find a gun on the man or at the scene.
