Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - As spring sets sights on Duluth so does the construction season.
Starting March 24th one block of 36th Avenue East in Duluth, spanning from London Road to Greysolon Road, will be closed.
The stretch will remain closed until June 12th.
According to Saint Louis Counties Regional Railroad Authority Director Bob Manzoline, the closure is for reconstruction of the North Shore Scenic Railroad Bridge 4-C that passes over 36th Avenue East.
But officials say it will not affect access to any resident, business, driveway, roadway or the Lakewalk other than a minor detour.
