Moose Lake, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Northlanders willing to get their hands dirty for their rewards flooded Moose Lake Saturday afternoon for the annual Moose Lake Agate Stampede.

Over 3,000 people, which organizers say is the largest crowd to date, sifted through a two block stretch of Elm Street that had been covered with two dump trucks worth of gravel, agates, and quarters.

Moose Lake Agate Days features the stampede, a rock and mineral show, and art and music in the park.

The day's highlights also included a car show and steak fry for those who built up an appetite during the stampede.
