(Northland's NewsCenter)---The owners of two pure bred German Shepherds, allegedly shot by hunters in November, now have two new dogs.
The owners bought two white, pure bred German Shepherds in December.
The dogs, Loki and Laska are training to be therapy dogs.
The dog owners remain hopeful authorities will be able to prosecute the hunters who allegedly killed the two pets on the hunter's private property during last deer hunting season.
The St. Louis County Attorney's office says the case remains open and under investigation.
The owners have created a face book page for the two dogs, Devaki and Makita.
