Poplar-- Law enforcement in northern Wisconsin are still looking for a man that robbed a bank

Around 10a.m. Thursday the Douglas County Sheriffs Department responded to the National Bank of Commerce after it was reported that the bank was robbed.

A cab was spotted on the scene, and sources say he may have used the taxi to get to the bank.

He apparently fled on foot.

Several law enforcement agencies responded to the call including a k-9 unit from the Superior police department.

The bank was closed for the rest of the day.

At last word no suspect has been arrested in connection with the robbery.
