Police looking for three armed robbery suspects

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Authorities are looking for three suspects involved in an alleged armed robbery over the weekend in Duluth.

On Sunday, police were called to the 600 block of North 9th Avenue East around one in the morning on the report of an armed robbery.

An initial investigation revealed a 23 year old woman was walking home when she was approached by three men, two of which allegedly had handguns. The victim said two of the suspects pointed the guns at her and took her purse and cell phone and ran eastbound on 6th Street.

The suspects are described as follows:
- Suspect #1:Black male, 22-24 years old, approximately 5’7, skinny, wearing dark baggy clothing, had a handgun.

- Suspect #2: Black male, 22-24 years old, approximately 5’7, skinny, wearing dark colored clothing, had a handgun.

- Suspect #3: Black male, wearing dark colored clothing.

The Duluth Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspects. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspects are asked to call 911.
