Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Construction begins Thursday, August 15, to repair 13 flood-damaged areas along a six-mile stretch of North Shore Drive (CSAH 61).
The project, which should be complete by October 18, will include replacing damaged culverts and guard rails, and repairing areas where significant slides occurred during last year’s flood. Northland Constructors of Duluth is the contractor on this $1.4 million project.
Due to the extensive work that must be done, the road will be closed and traffic detoured around the construction zone.
Approximately 2,000 vehicles travel North Shore Drive daily.
