City of Duluth on pothole patrol

April 9, 2014 Updated Apr 9, 2014 at 12:17 PM CST

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Crews were out and about filling potholes with cold mix Wednesday in Duluth. With much of the snow melting, due to the warming weather, many pothole problems are coming to the surface.

Duluth Mayor Don Ness, Chief Administrative Officer David Montgomery and Manager of Maintenance Operations, Kelly Fleissner, held a news conference to announce the city's approach to this spring's significant pothole problems.

We have crews at the news conference and on the streets scoping the pothole situation, and we'll tell you what city leaders are suggesting to handle the growing pothole problem in the city tonight beginning at Five.
