Predatory Offender Moving to Moose Lake Township

Carlton, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- The Carlton County Sheriff's Department is notifying the public that a level 3 Registered Predatory Offender will be moving into a neighborhood in Moose Lake Township.

As of October 5, 2012, 29-year-old Dustin Kenneth Lee Nelson will be moving to the South Riverside Road; he has been residing in Barnum Township since July of 2010.

Nelson is not wanted by police and has served the sentence given to him by the court. He is still required to comply with all requirements set forth in the Predatory Offender Registration laws and will be monitored by the Carlton County Sheriff's Office.

For anyone wanting to obtain information on Nelson, there will be a community notification meeting.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 2 at 6:00 p.m. at the Moose Lake City Hall on Elm Avenue in Moose Lake.
