Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- The public is invited to the November meeting of the Duluth Parking Commission, where the following proposed changes will be considered:

-Converting East 8th Street (between its cul-de-sac terminus near Woodland Avenue and East Clover Street) to the weekly alternate side calendar parking system.

-Converting East College Street (between East 8th Street and Irving Place) to the weekly alternate side calendar parking system.
Prohibiting parking in the cul-de-sac terminus of East 8th Street (near Woodland Avenue).

These proposals are in addition to the pending proposal to add these two blocks to the UMD-area resident permit parking zone.

The Duluth Parking Commission will consider these changes in its November meeting, which will start at 7:30 a.m. this Friday, November 9, and be held in Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall.
