Public Meeting Set to Discuss Removing Truck Traffic on Old Piedmont Avenue

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The City of Duluth is holding a public meeting to discuss removing truck traffic from Old Piedmont Avenue.

The proposal is to remove truck traffic between 3rd street and Minnesota Trunk Highway 53.

Property owners in the vicinity of the proposed change, trucking companies, and anyone with concerns are invited to attend the meeting.

City staff along with MNDot employees will be present to answer questions about trucks using I-535.

The meeting will be held on June 25 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall in room 303.
