Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Flood damage repairs are done and power has been restored at the Radisson hotel in Downtown Duluth following a water main break in March.
The hotel is now planning to reopen on June 6, nearly three months after a water main under Superior Street broke and flooded the hotel's lower level.
The hotel had originally hoped to reopen on May 15, but the date was pushed back because of delays in getting parts and equipment to repair damage.
General Manager Jeff Briner said in a news release that the hotel was not going to reopen until they could ensure that the guests would gave the excellent experience they deserve- whether in the rooms, restaurant, lounge or conference facilities.
The water affected the power supply to the hotel along with the boilers and heating and cooling system.
The hotel will reopen at 8 a.m. on June 6.
