Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Two home fires broke out recently that left two men without the basic necessities...food, clothing and shelter.
One Cook, Minnesota man lost his home days after thanksgiving and another man, from Duluth lost his earlier this week.
Both homes are a total loss and the men are living in temporary housing provided by the Red Cross relief efforts.
"Our main concern is just making sure is just making sure they have clothes. A lot of times people leave a scene of a fire and all they have is the clothes on their back, and so we want to make sure they have clothing and food and shelter. So, those are the main three things," Amy Arntson, a Red Cross Disaster Action Team Volunteer, said.
The Northland Chapter of the American Red Cross helps with long and short–term assistance.
They offer donations and grants if available.
