Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The American Red Cross is assisting a family of three after a car hit their home over the weekend in Gary-New Duluth. The crash happened Sunday evening around 9pm along Commonwealth Avenue. The car went of the road, hitting the family's home. The Red Cross is assisting a family of three, two adults and one child, by providing shelter, clothing, food and emotional support. "Whether it is a fallen tree of a wayward car that significantly damages your home, the result can be just as traumatic for all involved," said Megan Mrozek, Emergency Services Director for the American Red Cross Northern Minnesota Region.
