Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Cravaack was awarded with the National Association of Manufacturers award for Manufacturing Legislation Excellence.
According to NAM, Cravaack supported 95 percent of the policies that the group views as critical to manufacturing success.
Officials say the award was well deserved.
"Absolutely it's well–deserved. Not every member of congress gets this, and we're very delighted that we can give it to Chip Cravaack," said Senior Regional Manager Chip Tangen.
The award acknowledged Cravaack's votes in issues like energy policy, taxes and regulations.
