Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --Contestants will be revving their engines tomorrow for a one of a kind event in Duluth. Organizers say the Drag Race and Car Show, now in its eighth year, grows with every year and this year they added three new events. Muffler Rapping, Flame thrower exhaust, and burn out competitions. Organizers say this year's event brought out a thirty percent increase in drag racing participants. "We offered up 100 spots to drag race drivers to participate. We have not reached that capacity in the eight years of the event and this year is the first year we have reached that capacity," said event organizer Ryan Kern.
