Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - For those looking to do a little shuffling, or moving to the beat Saturday evening, we found just the event for you.

The first annual Ridgefest opened its gates Saturday afternoon at the Eastridge Community Church in Duluth.

The event is free and has bands lined up all day along with food and a couple of bounce houses for the kids.

Besides just wanting to throw a party for the community, Senior Pastor Tom Asbury commented that any donations made during the festival will go towards a new development.

"It's also part of expansion plans that we have going on here," said Asbury, "so, where the festival is taking place is exactly where we're going to be putting up and constructing a new worship center and wellness facility."

Ridgefest wraps up with a set by the multi–platinum recording artist, 'Cupid' whose hit the 'Cupid Shuffle' hit number 66 on the Hot 100 Billboard chart.
