Rip Tide warning along Park Point in Duluth until Monday morning

August 31, 2014 Updated Aug 31, 2014 at 9:47 PM CDT

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The Duluth Fire Department is warning beachgoers that there is a high risk of rip currents along Park Point until 10 AM Monday, making swimming conditions dangerous.

The high risk warning means that current wind and wave conditions can support potentially life–threatening rip currents.

Officials say stay out of the water regardless of your swimming experience.
