Sappi Workers Could go on Strike

-- Maintenance and Boiler Operators could be going on strike soon at the Sappi Paper Mill in Cloquet.

A strike Authorization Vote is set for tomorrow for members of the local chapter of the National Conference of firemen and oilers.

The vote will decide whether a ten day notice will be given to Sappi to either come to terms on health care and life insurance provisions, or go on strike.
