Soudan, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The 76-year-old staff member reported missing from the Soudan Underground Mine State Park Wednesday evening has been found in good condition.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, Adrienne De Vries, 76, was found around 3 a.m. Thursday by the St. Louis County Rescue Squad.

De Vries was found about three miles from the Park's visitor center. Authorities say she had walked down a trail and lost her way back.

The Sheriff's Office reports De Vries was cold, but uninjured when she was found. She was taken to Ely-Bloomenson Hospital as a precaution.

According to Tom Crossmon with St. Louis County Search and Rescue, park workers grew concerned after De Vries failed to return after taking the trash out around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities were called at 7:30 p.m.

Thirty-five searchers spread out across the park grounds looking for De Vries overnight.
