Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Blowing snow and strong winds made travel dangerous Friday morning.

In an interview on KBJR 6 and Range 11 News Today, MnDOT District One Assistant District Engineer, Pat Huston, said that many roadways are glazed with ice.

Huston says chemicals to remove the ice will be applied after the roads are plowed.
