St. Louis County Attorney Awarded for Dedication During Proctor Trial

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- St. Louis County Attorney, Rebekka Stumme, was presented a Certificate of Appreciation Award for her dedication and service she provided during the trial of a homicide in Proctor.

Proctor Chief of Police, Walter C. Wobig, nominated Stumme for the award.

The award ceremony was held at the City Council Meeting, where Mayor David Brenna presented Stumme the award.

Stumme graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, with a BA in political science in 1996, and from Hamline University School of Law in 1999.

She worked for a civil law firm from 1999-2004 and for the Public Defender's office from 2001-2010.

In February of 2010, Summe joined the St. Louis County Attorney's office, where she has become known for successful prosecution of complex criminal trials.
