Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Students from Ordean East took to the sky Saturday as a reward for their academic success.
It was part of the Path to Aviation program in which students from the top 15 percent of their class were rewarded with a field trip to Sky Harbor Airport.
There they took a Youth Eagles Flight where they were able to see what it was like to fly in a plane.
"I always liked flying in the big commercial airplanes, so I was wondering what it would be like to fly in the little jets," said student Jay Vaidyanathan.
This was the event's third year.
