Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- The hard work of many to reconstruct Tower Avenue in Superior is finally paying off, as Northlanders celebrate the grand reopening of the beautified northern end of the street.

The final touches are now complete, which is why the Superior Business Improvement District here in Superior is choosing to celebrate.

From five until bar close on Friday, Taverns along the avenue will celebrate with music, drink specials, and much more.

For the event there's something called a "Tower Avenue Party passport" for people in attendance, giving people a chance to win BID Bucks, or even an iPad.

People can get TAP passports at participating taverns.

The celebration continues throughout Saturday with activities, music, a ribbon cutting ceremony, kid's games, arts and crafts vendors, food carts, demonstrations, a car show, sidewalk sales, and a presentation from Twin Ports Stage, Superior's own theater company.

The festivities will continue tomorrow from 11 a-m to five.
If you come this evening you'll be able to enjoy some great music and some street dancing.

This spring the contractor finished planting trees and shrubs, and also installed amenities such as benches, and bus shelters, making it all that it is today.
