Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The suspected drug dealer, who led police on a wild chase over the Blatnik Bridge in late July, was in court today to face charges of fleeing police.

In July authorities had probable cause to arrest 23–year–old Datione Warren for heroin sales, as well as a search warrant to search him and his vehicle.

When police attempted to arrest him on July 31st, they say he took off in his vehicle headed toward Duluth driving around squad cars, over lawns and out on to Hammond Ave.

At the base of the Blatnik Bridge, police say the suspect threw cash out the window. Once stopped, investigators say they found 20 grams of heroin packaged for sale.

The suspect was arrested for fleeing police in Minnesota. He is scheduled for a jury trial on Dec. 16th.

After everything is dealt with in Minnesota, he will then have to answer to drug charges in Douglas County.
