Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- While some are running Grandma's marathon individually or with a buddy, others are running in groups of hundreds, all for a good cause.
214 runners from all over Minnesota and bordering states make up 'Team Hope.'
Team members say they're running with the hopes of creating awareness in the fight against pancreatic cancer.
"My mom and grandfather both passed away from this disease, so it personally touches me. And my friends are here to support me so it really makes it more motivating and more fun and you just know that you have this whole support team behind you," said team member Leah Hagen.
The team has already raised over $100,000 to support the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's mission to advance research, support patients, and create hope.
