Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)--- The big white tent in Canal Park is just one massive symbol of things to come when Grandma's Marathon descends on Duluth this weekend.
Crews could be seen in the Canal today, hoisting the tent's wooden pillars and battening down the ropes.
Before the weekend is over, thousands of people from across the nation are expected to flood the tent, Canal, and much of the rest of Duluth for the world-class marathon.
Grandma's started in 1977, and is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon
