Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - The owner of a Duluth construction business is searching for answers after thousands of dollars in tools were stolen.
It happened overnight Wednesday at a home on West Redwing St. in Duluth's Woodland neighborhood.
Business owner Ed Oman says someone cut off the lock on his trailer and got away with everything from a compressor to drills and even the lock, about $6,000 worth.
Oman says he began with very little and has worked hard to build his business from the ground up.
"At first I was pretty devastated. I started my business from my back pocket. I started it myself, my brother-in-law and myself. We've been working hard during the last year and-a-half to get ourselves established," Oman said.
Oman says he has filed a report with police along with an insurance claim.
Duluth Police are investigating.
