Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- In the mood for a cold glass of locally brewed beer? A new app will help point you in the right direction.

This week marks the launch of the Official Duluth Beer Trail, a free mobile-friendly site and interactive map essential for discovering the Duluth-region’s best microbrews.

The Duluth Beer Trail map will guide beer lovers straight to their perfect microbrew, from Superior to the Scenic Highway.

There are two “routes” users can take to find their ideal brew. First, users can search by location to see bars on the trail in their immediate area; each bar comes complete with contact information and a list of the breweries available on tap.

Second, users can search by brewery; each brewery lists what each bar offers and gives by a brief description including certain beers for which they’re well known.

The creators of this mobile experience say they are as enthusiastic about beer as they are serious about responsible driving. Also featured on the site are numerous local taxicab company listings with click-to-call functionality.

For more information on this new app, you can head the Duluth Beer Trail's website.
