Two Charged in Recent Convenience Store Robberies (With Photos)

Superior police announced Thursday that Adam Lawrence Burhans and Michael Eric Terry, both of South Range, Wis., have been arrested and charged for their alleged involvement in three convenience store robberies over the past two months.

According to a news release from Superior police:

Burhans was charged with one count of Armed Robbery, one count of Party to a Crime of Armed Robbery, and one count of Party to a Crime of Theft. The Party to a Crime of Theft charge is a Class A Misdemeanor which can result in a fine of no more than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000), or imprisonment of no more than 9 months, or both upon conviction. The Armed Robbery and Party to a Crime of Armed Robbery charges are Class C Felonies which can result in a fine of no more than One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000), or imprisonment of no more than 40 years, or both upon conviction.

Terry was charged with one count of Theft and one count of Armed Robbery. The Theft charge is a Class A Misdemeanor which can result in a fine of no more than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000), or imprisonment of no more than 9 months, or both upon conviction. The Armed Robbery charge is a Class C Felony which can result in a fine of no more than One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000), or imprisonment of no more than 40 years, or both upon conviction.

They were both arrested on March 11th, 2013 and made their initial appearances on March 14th, 2013.
