Two Inmates Missing from Federal Prison

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Authorities are investigating the escape of two inmates from the federal prison in Duluth Saturday.

According to officials with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, inmates Michael Krzyzaniak, 64, and Gerald Greenfield, 67, were discovered missing at around 10 p.m. Saturday.

Krzyzaniak is described as being a 64-year-old white male, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Authorities say he is 6’0” tall and weighs 200 pounds.

Krzyzaniak is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and is serving a 151 month sentence for Aiding and Abetting Wire Fraud and Income Tax Evasion. He is expected to be released on April 12, 2022.

Greenfield is a 67-year-old white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. He is 5’9” tall and weighs 150 pounds.

Greenfield is from Bloomington, Minnesota and is serving 50 months Conspiracy to Commit Money Laundering. He is expected to be released on November 2, 2015.

The United States Marshal Service and other law enforcement agencies were immediately notified of this matter and an investigation continues.
