Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- Two of the Great Lakes are showing record low water levels according to a survey released by the Hydrolics and Hydology Office of Detroit. Lake Michigan and Lake Huron showed among the lowest levels ever officially recorded for Great Lakes since recordings began in 1918. Low water levels could affect shipping throughout the Great Lakes, including on Lake Superior where the water level is currently 11 inches below normal. Posted to the web by Gabrielle Ware
