Two Harbors man will spend 30 years in prison for fatal stabbing

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A Two Harbors man named Raymond Charles Weeks has been sentenced to thirty years in prison for the fatal stabbing of a landlord.

Weeks pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges for killing Kevin John Tyman of Duluth. Tyman died from a single stab wound. The Court has also ordered Weeks to pay about three-thousand dollars to Tyman's family in order to cover funeral costs.

A Duluth woman named Joella Lee Tucker is also scheduled for sentencing next week for her connection to the murder, she has pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting second-degree murder. She is expected to receive 10-years of jail time, but she is arguing for a shorter sentence.
