Two Minneapolis Officers in Stable Condition after Shooting

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Two Minneapolis Police officers have been shot and wounded.

Authorities say the shootings happened on Bryant Avenue South around 3:30 Friday afternoon.

According to tweets from Minneapolis Police, both officers have been taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

A suspect was also shot and killed, according to police.

No names or conditions have been released as yet.

Police say the incident started with a suspect fleeing authorities, first in a car and then on foot. When the suspect ran into a house shots were fired.

Minneapolis Police said the two officers are in stable condition.

Police also said an officer responding to the scene struck a motorcyclist.
