Two Twin Ports men sentenced for possession of 60 lbs. of marijuana

Duluth/Superior, MN/WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Two Twin Ports men are sentenced today in the case where they pleaded guilty to possession of 60 pounds of marijuana.

64–year–old Dennis Krivinchuk of Superior and 66–year–old Richard Ward of Duluth were caught with two duffel bags of marijuana during a traffic stop near Rapid City, S.D., last November.

Ward is sentenced to five years in a suspended jail time, thirty days in jail, a $2,000 fine, court costs and five years of probation.

Krivinchuk's sentence of two years was also suspended except for 29 days in jail, a $200 fine, court costs and two years of probation.
