Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Two people have been arrested for allegedly burglarizing a cabin on the Whiteface Reservoir over the weekend.

Authorities were called to the cabin around one in the afternoon on Sunday after a neighboring cabin owner called 911. The neighbor was able to provide a description of the suspect vehicle, which officers found a short time later.

A 42 year old woman from Duluth and a 36 year old man from Eveleth were taken into custody and are awaiting formal charges. They are currently being jailed in Duluth, however they are expected to appear in court in Virginia later this week.

The woman is also expected to be charged in connection with an unrelated burglary case.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says this is the third time in two weeks a citizen has been instrumental in arresting burglary suspects.
