Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)-- The UMD ultimate frisbee team walked away with first place at a tournament in Georgia over the weekend.

The team competed against 37 other teams, going 8 and 0, in the Southern Regionals last weekend, winning the ultimate frisbee championship.

The men's team has won first place a few times over the last few years, and was even in the National tournament two years ago.

The team dreams of making it back to Nationals this year.

This weekend they are heading to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to compete against 16 other teams in the Old Capital Open.
