UMD is warning Duluth to Beware of Dogs at their 2013 Homecoming Parade.
UMD is taking it's Bulldog Parade off campus for the first time in 40 years.
UMD and the Greater Downtown council teamed up to help build connectivity between the two.
Downtown businesses were encouraged to show their spirit by decorating their windows and walkways UMD maroon and gold.
The Parade, "Now entering Bulldog Country: Beware of Dogs kicks of the third day of UMD homecoming events.
"They haven't done a parade in years and years so it's real exciting to see that.
And the last time they had one was obviously up on campus so it's going to be great for us to be able to host it right in the downtown," says Kristi Stokes, President of the Greater Downtown Coucil Duluth.
There are more than 50 entries in this year's parade.
The parade followed Superior St. between first Ave west and 4th Ave. West.
Mayor Don Ness served as the parade Grand Marshal.
