U.S. Senate Green Lights Bill Ending FAA Furloughs

Washington, D.C. (NBC News) - The U.S. Senate has passed legislation aimed at ending air traffic controller furloughs that have been blamed for large flight delays nationwide.

The bill aims to give the FAA financial flexibility to deal with staffing problems through September 30th.

The house is expected to vote on the bill Friday.
