SUPERIOR, WISC. --- The University of Wisconsin-Superior has been named a Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs Magazine.
According to G.I. Jobs, the ranking places UW-Superior in the top 15 percent of all colleges, universities and trade schools nationwide in services offered to veterans.
The school provides a veterans benefits coordinator to help veterans understand their government education benefits and to arrange payment for their tuition and fees.
G.I. Jobs is a private organization that surveys 7,000 schools nationwide about the services they provide to veterans.
UW-Superior currently has about 150 military veterans and 50 family members of veterans enrolled.
