Superior, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Both Presidential candidates and their running mates are making their final swings through battle ground states, including Superior, WI.

Vice President Joe Biden will be campaigning today at the Superior Middle School. Doors will open at 1pm for those with tickets.

3:40 p.m. --- The event at Superior Middle School is finally getting underway. State Senator Bob Jauch (D-Poplar) just spoke for a little bit.

3:41 p.m. --- 7th Congressional District Democratic candidate Pat Kreitlow takes the stage.

"He's here to thank you for supporting the reelection of President Barack Obama next Tuesday. Just as I am so thrilled to have your support in Congress if you reelect me next Tuesday."

"Joe Biden just gets it. Nobody speaks the truth like Vice President Biden."

"It was financial aid that allowed me to be the first in my extended family to graduate college. Mitt Romney wants to slash it."

"Let's make a statement Tuesday, these battles are done once and for all."

"Remember this, the polls close in 100 hours from now. Now as a candidate I've done almost everything I can do, the President, Vice President candidates, we've put out the ads, the message, now it's in your hands to reach the undecided, ring the phones, knock on the doors, together we can do great things, together we can win an election."

3:50 --- A selection of music plays as the crowd awaits the arrival of Vice President Joe Biden.

4:22 p.m. --- The crowd is standing up, cameras are being adjusted, preparing for the arrival of Vice President Joe Biden.

4:25 p.m. Hillary Peterson on stage to introduce Vice President Joe Biden. Hillary is a senior student in Superior. She says next week's election will be the most important ever, because it will impact the student's lives for the next 40 years.

4:28 p.m.--- Vice President Joe Biden welcomed to the stage with applause and cheers from the packed gymnasium. Reporter Justin Reis says 1,100 people are in attendance.

4:29 p.m. --- Introduces himself by saying he's Jill Biden's husband. Mrs. Biden is a school teacher.

4:30 p.m. --- Biden says he misses Dave Obey, former congressman for District 7. Pushes support for Pat Kreitlow.

4:31 p.m. -- Notes how Democrats and Republicans are working together on the East Coast in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. "It's like it's supposed to work," Biden said.

"When this election is over, we got to get back to doing the same thing," he added.

4:32 p.m. -- Biden: We've made some real progress. 4.5 million new jobs in private sector. More jobs created in October than in any of the last eight months. Exports up 41%.

"Rescued automobile industry, ended war in Iraq, We're going to end war in Afghanistan. There are 2 million jobs in the future available right now through our colleges."

"We're going to give tax breaks to those who come home, not to those who go abroad," Biden said on outsourcing.

Biden said based on three debates, you would think "Romney and Ryan were converted."

Biden talks about healthcare, insurance and pre-existing conditions. "Romney wants to get rid of planned parenthood, he doesn't understand it's private organization, it's not his to get rid of."

Biden says one important issues that hasn't been discussed: "Who will appoint to US Supreme Court of the US." Next President likely to appoint up to three judges to court.

"This is not your grandfather's Republican Party," Biden said on Romney/Ryan.

"This is Bush on steroids" citing Romney's campaign.

Biden attacks Mitt Romney's promise that he will be tough on China saying that Romney called President Obama's actions to keep the tire industry going in America as being protectist.

Biden calls Romney's promise to get tough on China "malarkey".
