Victim in Highway 61 Fatal Crash Identified

Two Harbors, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the person killed in a two-car crash on Highway 61 along the North Shore Friday.

Authorities say Caitlin D. Kelly, 19, of Northfield died after her Honda Civic spun out and turned sideways on Highway 61, causing an oncoming vehicle to hit the passenger side.

According to the State Patrol, the driver of the other vehicle, Paul Drindak, 62, of Thunder Bay, had no apparent injuries. The vehicle's passenger, Linda Drindak, 61, of Thunder Bay, received non-life threatening injuries

The crash happened just after 3 p.m. Friday.
