(NNCNOW.COM) --- A Virginia woman was hospitalized after she struck a semi truck in Itasca County Friday evening.
Authorities say Carey Folman, a 36-year-old woman from Virginia hit a semi-trailer driven by driven by James Manee, a 54-year-old Goodland man.
The accident happend just before 7 p.m.
Manee was backing the trailer into a driveway on Highway 65.
Folman was taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth.
Officials say road conditions were wet at the time and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The Itasca County Sheriff’s Department as well as the Nashwauk Police Department responded to the crash.
