Voluntary recall issued for beef linked to possible E-coli bacteria contamination

(NNCNOW.com) - A Michigan company has issued a voluntary recall for beef processed in March and April for possible E-coli bacteria contamination.

The USDA reports one point eight pounds of ground beef products were shipped to five retailers in nine states including Gordon Food Service Marketplace in Wisconsin.

Wolverine Packing Company of Detroit processed the beef between March 31, 2014 and April 18, 2014.

The products bear the establishment number "EST 2574B."

11 people have fallen ill in 4 states.
