Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- It is week four of the Deer Feeding Initiative and the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association (MDHA) thinks it is a success.
Their goal is to feed as many deer as possible, and they are currently feeding about 15,000 deer a week. MDHA has signed up almost 1,000 volunteers and purchased 330 tons of feed.
Starting March 29, MDHA will not take on any new volunteer feeders at any of the distribution locations in order to best prioritize their allocated funds.
For the volunteers who are already signed up, MDHA says to remember to fill out and return your Reporting Form each weekend.
