Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter)---It's slippery out there and authorities are warning if you’re heading out you should use extreme caution.
Snow showers will linger throughout the afternoon and will dump around 1-3” of snow across the Northland. Measurements in Itasca County have been around 2-3” so far.
This is a quick moving small low pressure system, and temperatures will fall as we head into Saturday morning. So expect icy conditions throughout the night tonight.
The heavy snow has caused problems on area roadways, be especially careful on bridges. The Blatnik and Bong bridges are reported to be very slippery, so slow your speed and be careful out there!
