Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Beginning at sunrise Tuesday Governor Scott Walker has issued an order for U.S. and Wisconsin flags to be lowered in honor of Governor Patrick Lucey.
"Governor Lucey was a dedicated public servant who loved Wisconsin and his country," Walker said. "His life was spent serving first in the United States Army, the Wisconsin State Assembly, as the Lieutenant Governor, as Governor, and finally as Ambassador of the United States to Mexico."
Lucey passed away at 96–years of age on Saturday, May 10. Flags will be lowered until Lucey's burial.
